Rockford will host the 2027 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19-25, after hosting the 2026 Group Stage.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that Rockford, Illinois, will stage the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19-25. The city also hosted the Group Stage in July 2026, marking the first time the event has been held in Illinois.

The finals will crown the world’s best women’s baseball team, with Japan having won the last seven titles and Team USA the first two. Rockford’s commitment to women’s baseball is highlighted by renovations to Beyer Stadium and the city’s reputation as a dynamic sports destination.
