Jonas Sanker, selected 93rd overall in the 2025 draft, quickly established himself as a vital part of New Orleans' defense. The Virginia safety led the secondary with 80 total tackles, including 3 for loss and 46 solo stops, while adding 2 interceptions in his rookie campaign.
Sanker showed excellent range and instincts as a deep safety, exceeding expectations in coverage while also proving to be an outstanding tackler in open space. Despite some inconsistencies down the stretch, his performance was instrumental in helping the Saints rank 4th against the pass and 9th overall defensively.
