Ex-captain Ganguly urges selectors to pick Auqib Nabi for England tour

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has backed Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi for the upcoming white-ball series in England, citing his impressive five-wicket haul in the Ranji Trophy final.

Nabi finished with figures of 5/54, leading J&K to a massive first-innings lead. Ganguly specifically highlighted the tough environment and the player's resilience, suggesting England is the ideal place to start his international journey.

Nabi currently leads the wicket charts with 60 scalps this season. Former wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik also praised the pacer's consistency across conditions, describing him as a "champion" who deserves a chance at the highest level.
