Wild beat Avalanche for sixth straight win

Mats Zuccarello scored the go-ahead goal as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 on Thursday night to extend their winning streak.

Forward Matt Boldy had a standout performance with two goals and two assists. Filip Gustavsson made 44 saves to secure the win. Joel Eriksson Ek added the final two goals for Minnesota.

With the victory, the Wild have won six games in a row. Zuccarello's tally came in the third period, helping Minnesota move ahead of the Avalanche in the Western Conference standings.
