Pedro Acosta, 21, captured his first MotoGP victory in the Thai Grand Prix, out‑gunning defending champion Marc Márquez on the final lap. The Spaniard was penalised for a clash, allowing Acosta to take the checkered flag.

The podium was all‑Spanish, with Raúl Fernández finishing third on a private Aprilia for Trackhouse, while Acosta celebrated his win for KTM.
