Pistons Beat Cavs 122-119 in OT After Horn Delay

Jalen Duren recorded a double-double with 33 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 122-119 overtime victory over the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

Despite an 18-minute delay caused by a power surge that left a blaring horn echoing during a timeout, Detroit outscored Cleveland 16-7 in the final minutes of regulation to force overtime. Cade Cunningham had 25 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out, but Duren dominated with 33 points and 16 rebounds.

Jarrett Allen added 25 points for Cleveland, which played without Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. With 4.7 seconds left, Daniss Jenkins converted a three-point play to tie the game, and the Pistons held on in the extra session.
