WNBA Union Sends Counterproposal with Revenue Sharing and Housing Concessions

The WNBA players’ union has sent a counterproposal to the league, proposing 26% of gross revenue and revised housing rules, with a deadline of March 10 to start the season on time.

The union’s new offer keeps its 26% share of gross revenue and reduces its previous 27.5% demand, while the league had offered more than 70% of net revenue.

Housing terms remain: teams must provide housing for all players in the early years, but after a few years players earning at least 75% of the max salary may not require team housing. A deal by March 10 would allow the season to start on schedule.
