Daniel Hillier holds out Lucas Herbert to win the New Zealand Open

Hillier posted a final-round 67 to finish with a 22-under total of 262. Herbert shot 67 to finish second at 20-under.

Hillier becomes the first New Zealander to win the national open since 2017. He also earned automatic entry to The Open Championship, though that spot passes to Herbert.
