Ejiofor's Triple-Double Lifts St. John's Over Villanova

Zuby Ejiofor delivered his first career triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, powering No. 15 St. John's to an 89-57 victory over Villanova.

Red Storm (23-6, 16-2 Big East) bounced back strongly after a 72-40 loss at UConn. Ian Jackson added 19 points and a career-high five steals off the bench, while Oziyah scored 14 points in St. John's most lopsided victory over Villanova.

The win keeps St. John's half-game behind No. 6 UConn in the conference standings. Ejiofor's triple-double was just the fourth in school history, with the previous one coming last season by Kadary Richmond.
