The gesture is expected to become popular during the tournament where stars like Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will represent Samurai Japan.

The World Baseball Classic begins Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and runs through March 17. While most games require cable or streaming subscriptions, select matchups will be available for free on Fox and Tubi platforms throughout the tournament.
