Cox Powers Purdue Past Northwestern

The Boilermakers (14-6, 6-4 Big Ten) struggled early but Cox took over in the second half, hitting four 3-pointers including a crucial one with 48 seconds left to give Purdue a 68-66 lead. Trey Kaufman-Renn contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds despite briefly leaving with a shoulder injury.

Purdue had to overcome 13 first-half points off turnovers but managed to secure the victory at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The win comes after back-to-back losses and keeps the Boilermakers firmly in the NCAA Tournament conversation.
