Warrenton 8th Graders Capture State Basketball Title

The team won five of six games over the weekend, including victories over Yamhill‑Carlton (52‑40), Crescent Valley (45‑17), Banks (40‑28) and Seaside (48‑20). They fell to Madras 66‑54 on Saturday but rebounded to defeat them 60‑52 in the final.

The roster features six eighth‑graders and four seventh‑graders, with six players having played together for five years.
